A NEW YEAR OF NEW BEGINNINGS

  As cliché as it may sound, normally, at this time of year, everyone are concerned with figuring out what their New Year’s resolutions (that we probably won’t keep beyond the first week of January) would be. But as each and everyone of us knows, 2020 was not a normal year, and this is not a normal New Year’s Eve. Maybe, rather than resolutions, this might be a good time to think about what we can look forward to in 2021. Some of these ideas might be more wishful thinking than others. But with several vaccines in sight and are already in production for mass distribution worldwide, 2021 is full of far more possibility than the preceding year (hopefully). First off, it goes without saying that it was a long and hard year for all of us, and we’ve had to overcome a lot of challenges. This time last year, we as students were writing our New Year’s Resolutions as part of our activities after the long holiday break, I could’ve never imagined what the next several months would bring....
