  CapSU Dumarao marks its 40 th Foundation Anniversary The Caravan T he celebration of  40 th  Foundation Anniversar y of   Capiz State University Dumaro Satellite College  kicked off, October 14, 2022, 7:00 am with the caravan from CapSU Dumarao going to Bry. Ongol bridge. Faculty, staff and students from four departments; Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Teacher Education Department, Criminology Department, and Agriculture Department wore designated color and waived their balloons , and flaglets as they traversed the route of the said caravan.        Student-volunteers undergo  two-day capacity building Student-volunteers who are second year  and third year teacher education students  underwent t wo- day  capacity building on the implementation of Projects VENTURES of CapSU Dumarao Teacher Education,  Extension program  and  Project ERNEEST of Aglalana Integrated School.                                            Abelito, Ternura attend  BSCrim  program curriculum  streamlining  March 15-19, 2021- Mrs. Rollen Ternura and Mrs. April Joy B. Abelito, both are professors from Criminology Department attended t he BS Criminology Curriculum Streamlining on Capiz State University- Dayao Satellite College. This activity was a compliance to the requirement of Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to meet the number of units required by the said agency and as well as to harmonize the course codes for General Education courses (GEC) in BS Fisheries, BS Food Technology, BS Criminology, BS Computer Science, and BS Information Technology.                        CapSU Dum and  Estefania Montemayor NHS launch project, sign MOA September 28, 2022- L aunching Ceremony and MOA Signing of Project VENTURES of CapSU Dumarao Teacher Education Department & Project REACH UP of Estefania Montemayor NHS. This another collaboration project of CapSU TED Extension Program with Estefania Montemayor NHS aims to help struggling learners in reading and numeracy on becoming functional readers and numerates. Present in the launching and MOA signing were: Dr. Rolando Ricardo, Principal IV of Estefania MNS, Dr. Marie Jean Penson, CapSU Satellite College Director, Dr. Ma. Julie Lademora, Chair, TED, Dr. Nelinda Duero, Chair, CapSU Extension, proponents of the two projects, faculty and student- volunteers and student -beneficiaries.                                Criminology dept heads peace advocacy symposium      Capiz State University Dumarao Satellite College with the initiative of Criminology Department head by Mr. Romar Tawas spearheaded the Peace Symposium on Anti-Illegal Drugs and Anti-Insurgency, October 5, 2022.     The invited resource speakers of the said activity were from 12 Infantry Battalion, 31st Division, Philippine Army, Camp. Gen. Carreon , Calinog, Iloilo,602 Company Regional Mobile Force Battalion Region VI, National Intelligence Coordinating Agency Region VI , 2nd Maneuver Platoon, 2nd Capiz MFC, and Dumarao Municipal Police Station.   The activity aimed to assist in the government advocacy in promoting peace and order thru student's involvement as well as  to raise their awareness on illegal drugs and anti-insurgency.
