COVID-19 Update as of October 13, 2020



The confirmed cases of people affected by the disease in the country now sits at 344, 713, with 55% of it are male. The most affected age ranges from 20-29 years old (27%) and 30-39 years old (24%).

Out of the total number of cases, unfortunately, there are 6, 372 confirmed deaths. Most of the deaths came from NCR, Central Visayas , CALABARZON and Western Visayas, with NCR having the largest number of deaths (48%), and largest increase in new deaths at that.

According to a research group, there are more than 100 cases per day in the country. The conduct of COVID-19 vaccine phase-3 clinical trials are now being geared up by the government and public transportation sectors are now  expected to reopen in areas under general community quarantine.
