   50 FARMER BENEFICIARIES RECEIVE  A     FAMILY OF DNC  Fifty farmer beneficiaries  from the municipality of Dao, Capiz received a family of Darag Native Chicken on December 28, 2021 under the YRRP Program of Department of Agriculture through CAPSU BURIAS headed by Mr. Rodriz Loja, Project Leader with Mr. Roger Escleto (Municipal Agriculture Officer) in partnership with Dr. Maryneth Barrios, Project Leader of the Native Chicken Value chain project of DOST PCAARRD. The said farmer beneficiaries are targeted to be  the  suppliers of Native Chicken in the Region in support to the project "Enhancing the Agri- Aqua Food Value Chain through Smart Technologies and Partnerships towards Food Resiliency in the New Normal in Region 6." PROJECT KBP:  Kapon, Bakuna kag Purga sa mga Ido kag Kuring  March 31, 2022- Capiz State University Dumarao Satellite College- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Department collaborated with Dao,Capiz Local Government Unit headed by Mayor Toto Ernie Escutin and Vice Mayor Joselito Bobô Escutin through  the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist and in partnership with Dao Dog Lovers Association and Pet Options.in the conduct of the PROJECT KBP:  Kapon, Bakuna kag Purga sa mga Ido kag Kuring (Free Rabies Vaccination, Castration/Ligation, Deworming and Seminar on Responsible Pet Ownership).   Moreover, part of the activity was a talk on  Anti-Rabies Awareness shared by Mr. Adrian D.   GAD initiates Pampering Day March is declared as National  Women' s  month celebration with its cause to continue safeguarding the rights of every women, empowering and  recognizing their value and contribution  in the country. In line with this, CapSU Dumarao highlighted this one -month celebration through a Pampering Day where every faculty member and  staff  is given the chance to rest and beautify themselves through manicure, pedicure,hair cutting and massaging March 30,2022.  Early this morning, faculty and staff  performed  Zumba dancing groove  in front of administration building as part of the culmination activity.Webinars for women empowerment were also conducted from the start of the month. The said activity was spearheadad by Mrs. Elna Velarde, GAD Chair.

CapSU welcomes  Rev. Fr Gicole March 29, 2021- Capiz State University welcomes Rev. Fr. Robel G. Gicole as the new Chaplain of the University. He was welcomed by the Central  Administration headed by Dr. Editha C. Alfon, University President. Rev. Fr. Gicole is the second University Chaplain. He replaces Rev. Fr. Arthur Adricula Jr. who passed away last November 2021.

CapSU Dum holds monthly Holy mass  Rev. Father Erwin Bombaes, parish p riest of Dumarao officiates today's monthly Holy Mass, March 24, 2022, Conference Room, Administration building of CapSU Dumarao. Faculty and staff of the College are gathered to attend the said mass. This month sponsors are the February and March birthday celebrators,and Agriculture Department headed by Dr. Mario Lago,program chair.

  Penson assumes seat as a new SCD Dr. Marie Jean P. Penson assumed the position as new Satellite College Director of  Capiz State University Dumarao Satellite College.  Penson succeeded Dr. Teresita Oducado' s position as SCD of the College from May 2016- October 2022. As to her experience and background, she is the former academic dean of the College, and program chair of the BEEd and BSEd programs. When asked why she was settled in that position, Penson answered that it means bigger responsiblity in her part, but she will give her best in managing the institution inorder to uphold its vision and mission. DVM holds its annual VetMed Week CapSU Dumarao - The Department of Doctor of  Veterinary Medicine holds  its 16th Annual Veterinary Medicine Week with the theme "Future Veterinarians for Control and Care of Animals Amidst the Pandemic" on February 23-24, 2022. This annual activity offers free veterinary services to  pets coming from Dumalag, Dumarao and Cuartero. Services include spaying/neuter, deworming, and  rabies vaccination conducted  by volunteer doctors and in partnerships with Office of the Provincial Veterinarian-Capiz, CP Veterinary Home Service, SARGADO Animal Clinic and Agrivet Supplies, Camacho Veterinary Clinic,and PETVALUECARE Veterinary Centre. DNC targets to be Halal product in WV CapSU Dumarao- The REGD-AFPC Section, Halal Team headed by Mr. Manuel P. Porque, Supervising Agriculturist - REGD visited  Capiz State University Dumarao.Datellite College, Dumarao, Capiz and discussed  the DAWV Halal Program, March 15, 2022. CapSU is known for its numerous  researches  - The Darag Native Chicken (DNC) Project is one of its biggest, now  it produces Darag dressed chicken for food consumption and possibly a source of Halal foods in Western Visayas (WV).  This DAWV - REGD initiatives aims to connect with The CapSU-DNC Project in promotion of  Halal program and  and agri-products certification to the DNC farmer-cooperators in the province of Capiz, WV.   I miss nothing but a dream of a young mind. Which thought about candies and rainbows, fantastic magic of unicorns and adorable dolls. About alignment of colors, a simple yet a view of perfectly imperfect art. Unlike today, it is purely about fears of a future, doubts and holes in heart. Parade of regrets and friendships that was tore apart. I miss nothing but a desire of a young heart. Which about reaching the stars and to watch full episodes of cartoons, To be a superhero and defeat goons. To build a castle and meet a prince covered with coat and holding an armor. But reality slapped me that it's about investing everything and ended up laying down in a bed, exhausted and alone. Tied by insecurities and numerous responsibilities. A life of being a child is what I missed. Not anyone who who can hit me with the mess of reality.

  I am already too far different from the old me. Back then, I used to wait for someone's approval before I do something I love, I'm too fearful of the judgements, and of the possible upcoming failures. I'm too fearful to lose anyone, that I might end up walking down the pavements with nothing but my silhouette following me behind. I'm too fearful that I might end up the the day successfully and with have nobody to celebrate it with. But as I entered unproductive relationship, toxic circle of friends and embraced environment surrounded by people whose good at sugar coated words— realizations devoured me. It boosted my confidence, it served as my guide to go on, stood up as my strength. I shouldn't look back with those who left me while I am still a weakling, those who laughed when I am once a shame, those who didn't believe me, and those who chose to leave after building the 'love' I thought was the real definition of genuine and purity.
