Tree planting activity of campus Student orgs

 


                          CapSU Dumarao  student orgs join tree planting activity


        Capiz State University Dumarao Satellite College student organizations led by the Supreme Student Council (SSC) joined the tree planting activity initiated by the Our Lady of the Snows Parish and its Youth Ministry, September  8, 2022 at Lidong Watershed, Sitio Terum, Baragay Codingle. 
            The said tree planting project titled, "We Plant as One,: Dagyaw sang Kabataan",  highlighted the Feast of the Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary and aimed to plant  at least 1,000 non-bearing fruits to address the problem on river and flash flooding  especially in the low-lying areas. 
                The SSC was headed by its President Mr. Benjie Hallarda and adviser, Mrs. Rollen Ternura. Other student organizations who joined were the Future Leaders of the Philippines (FLP), College Publication, CapSU Dumarao Performing Arts, The Clinicians and SAVERS, Social Studies Club, and others.

  CapSU Dumarao marks its 40 th Foundation Anniversary The Caravan T he celebration of  40 th  Foundation Anniversar y of   Capiz State University Dumaro Satellite College  kicked off, October 14, 2022, 7:00 am with the caravan from CapSU Dumarao going to Bry. Ongol bridge. Faculty, staff and students from four departments; Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Teacher Education Department, Criminology Department, and Agriculture Department wore designated color and waived their balloons , and flaglets as they traversed the route of the said caravan.
