CapSU Dumarao Conducts Community Extension Service Program

Capiz State University Dumarao Satellite College conducted a two-day Livelihood Disaster Preparedness Training and Literacy last November 7-8, 2019, Brgy. Codingle Dumarao, Capiz headed by Dr. Nelinda V. Duero, Chairman of Extension Services.
The program was attended by the Brgy. Codingle Officials, residents and several outsiders.
On the first day of the program, November 7,2020, the faculties of CapSU Dumarao conducted a symposium and discussed several topics such as Gender and Development, Common Poultry Diseases and Management, Poultry Production Management, and Disaster Preparedness and Literacy. Each of the 4 departments of CapSU Dumarao brough faculty representatives that served as speakers of the day, namely: Ms. Jezel F. Sucias of Teacher Education Department, Dr. Leah A. Ingalls of Department of Veterenary Medicine, Dr. Sylvia Ozaraga of Agriculture Department, and Mr. Romar Tawas of Criminology Department.
On the second day of the program, November 8, 2020, April Joy Abelito of the Criminology Department tackled the importance of self-defense and Mrs. Loida Barrera of Teacher Education Department introduced the proper procedures of Tocino and Embutido Making.
Extension service programs such as this aims to build a connection with the community through the helps of providing training and livelihood competency.
